Hall Booking Program

When it is not in use by our group, our hall is available for day use and overnight stays for Scout and Guide groups for a donation of $30 to cover utilities. Non Scouting community groups may hire the hall for a fee (POA) and must present a certificate of coverage naming 1st Emerald Scout Group for public Liability for $10 million. A condition bond is required from Non Scouting groups.

We do NOT hire the hall for parties, protests or gatherings as we consider that the risk to the community asset is too high.

The hall features an open fire, gas ducted heating, flourescent lighting, toilets and kitchen.

Kitchen equipment can be made available - items requested should be made known at the time of booking. Available are a 10L Urn, hotplates, microwave oven, small fridge, electric frypan, toaster oven and BBQ. A projector and DVD player with sound can be made available on request to Scout and Guide groups only. None of these items are stored at the hall.

Booking the hall does not include the abseiling tower or the committee room that may be in use at the time of your booking.
