Pro Forma for Log Book

For Patrol Camps some basic documentation is needed, the Stradbroke Log book requirements are an excellent guide for EVERY patrol camp.

* List of Patrol Members and their emergency contact details, age and other important information such as allergies

* Menu by day and meal

* Ration (shopping) list

* Duty Roster

* Daily program

* Equipment List

Having the PL prepare a log book for every Patrol Camp, whether they do it by themselves or under your guidance, is important to help them plan and execute the camp. You can review their efforts and if they've forgotten anything major or have their quantities way out on the rations then you as leader can step in and discuss where they went wrong and have them fix it. If they've only got it a little bit wrong - let them go - a little discomfort is a great learning tool.
