Members meeting the membership eligibility will receive an Invitation with their PIN, initial instructions and general terms and conditions for applicants.

After checking all the details are correct, select the “Submit” button at the bottom of the form.

Group Leaders / Leaders in Charge will be sent an email advising them of your application and requesting they “Approve” your application.

Currently seeking leaders for Scouts & Venturers PDF Print E-mail

Our group is currently seeking leaders to join our leadership team to work with our youth. The fun and adventure of Scouting is not just for kids - it is for those of us who recognise the kid on the inside too.

We currently have around 25 Cubs, 20 Scouts and 10 Venturers.

Scout section (ages 10 to 15) is now a third girls and we're looking for a female leader to help meet the unique needs of young teenage females. The new leader would be working within the established and experienced leadership team Paul and Mark. Scouting is focussed around the hall, the local community, the local and remote bush and you need to love camping because we do heaps. We're into adventurous activities such as abseiling, canoeing, mountain biking.

Emerald have a large number of Venturers (ages 15 to 18) involved with the JETS & Upper Beaconsfield venturer units and we would like to contribute a leader into the JETS leadership team. Ventuers is best summed up by JETS motto "Because We Can".

Please contact our Group Leader Mevan for more information.

To find out more about Scout Leadership in general, please visit the Scouts Victoria Leadership page. Many of our leaders come from the parents of the youth involved in the group but there is no reason that any one can't join the fun. All Leaders need to pass a police and working with children check.
